I love cooking and my husband loves to eat. This inspires me to try new recipes and create various combinations of delectable cuisine. For my husband, the spicier the food, the more he enjoys it. That is why we use a lot of hot sauces and spices in our food. I keep trying various food combination ideas and some of the most unique food combinations that I have tried are using Sriracha and Coffee.

My husband loves Sriracha. You may have heard Sriracha being also referred to as “rooster sauce”. This is because the logo on the famous Huy Fong Sriracha bottle is a rooster. Sriracha is a fiery hot sauce that once you try, you can't get enough of it. Sriracha is a hot sauce from the east coast of Thailand and is named after the city of Si Racha from which it originated. Sriracha is generally made of a few main ingredients which include: chili peppers, garlic, distilled vinegar, sugar, and salt.

The best way to use Sriracha (in my opinion), is to eat it with Seafood. You can also use it to spice up a bowl of rice or any Pad Thai dish. I love to try it on soups, stir-fries, burgers, and more. Of course, you could always use it to spice up a bowl of rice.

Recently, I started experimenting with Sriracha and Coffee. I am a coffee enthusiast and I LOVE coffee. So I thought, why not add a dash of Sriracha to my espresso from my Sriracha2Go Keychain and see how it tastes? The result was delicious!

Here are my 5 unique Sriracha and Coffee combination ideas:

1. Sriracha Mocha
Do you like the taste of chocolate? Well, then how about making it spicy? Making a Sriracha Mocha is easy and it tastes great. Brew a double shot of espresso. Combine with about 1/2 teaspoon of Sriracha and chocolate syrup. Stir to distribute. Combine with steamed milk and enjoy! Add more chocolate for a sweeter drink and more Sriracha for a spicier drink!
2. Sriracha Frappuccino
Starbucks made the Sriracha Frappuccino famous after it made one. I loved the Unicorn Frappuccino made by Starbucks and the Sriracha Frappuccino was no different. There are rave reviews about the Sriracha Frappuccino. Most of the drinkers said that they loved the unique taste. Since we know that a Frappuccino goes amazingly well with Sriracha, make sure you carry your Sriracha2Go Keychain when you hit Starbucks next.

3. Mexican Hot Chocolate
Like Mexican Hot Chocolate? Well, now it is time to make it a little Thai!! Mexican Hot Chocolate is easy to make. It is the easiest way to stay warm when it is cold outside, especially in winter. All you need to do is mix a bit of cinnamon, vanilla extract, and Sriracha in your hot chocolate and you get an excellent new drink which tastes awesome and gives you a lot of warmth. Enjoy Mexican Hot Chocolate or your favorite beverage in Sriracha2Go's 20 oz Mug.

4. Espresso Sriracha
I love espressos. I love the great espressos that I can make in my amazing espresso machine at home. My husband suggested that I add a drop of Sriracha into my espresso. I loved it. The bitter and strong flavor of my coffee was enhanced by the hot and spicy taste of the Sriracha. Even when I travel these days, I make sure that my Sriracha2Go Keychain is with me.

5. Roast Beef with Espresso Sriracha Sauce
My final combination is a recipe that I stole from my Nan. Roast beef is a meal that I enjoy frequently. I use espresso powder a lot in my baking. I decided to sprinkle a bit (actually a generous sprinkle) onto my Roast Beef. The flavor was awesome. The taste of beef in your mouth with the flavor of coffee is great. The flavors really worked excellently together. I then added a dash of Sriracha to the beef and I loved how it enhanced the taste and gave it a spicy kick.

For all the above Sriracha and Coffee combination ideas, you can add as much or as little of the Sriracha as per your personal preference. I hope you liked my coffee and Sriracha combination ideas. The next time you visit your local bistro, make sure that you carry your Sriracha2Go Keychain and add a dash to your next cuppa.
