Nom Alert: Sriracha Hot Fried Chicken

Traditional fried chicken with an exotic spicy twist: you can serve it both with roasted potatoes or refresh it with a raw vegetable salad. To be enjoyed with your favorite crew!

Servings: 4

Time: 20 minutes (+ 20 minutes soaking time)

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb 8 oz chopped chicken breast
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ cup sesame oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp Huy Fong Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

 

Preparation:

  • In a small bowl, mix Sriracha sauce with sugar and garlic powder;
  • Soak your chopped chicken in buttermilk for at least 20 minutes;
  • Rub chicken chops with the prepared spicy mixture;
  • Roll them in flour;
  • In the meantime, heat sesame oil in a frying pan, until it's very hot.
  • Leave your chicken chops into the frying pan for about 10 minutes (depending on their size);
  • Serve immediately;
