The only Huy Fong licensed, refillable Sriracha keychain fills a void for Sriracha fanatics worldwide
NEW YORK, September 15, 2015 -- Sriracha2Go, a company catering to the needs of Sriracha fans worldwide, today announced a partnership with Mark Cuban Companies, owned by entrepreneur, investor and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban.
“Consumers are craving Sriracha with every meal, yet it isn’t always readily available. Sriracha2Go offers a simple, yet brilliant, solution to an all-too-familiar pain point. As soon as I learned about what their team was up to, I wanted in,” said Mark Cuban. “With tremendous growth in their first year, Sriracha2Go immediately proved to be a necessity for foodies and hot sauce lovers. I’m fired up to support the team and to be a part of many more milestones that lie ahead.”
As part of this investment, the Mark Cuban Companies team is leveraging its experience and relationships across manufacturing and distribution to expand Sriracha2Go’s product offering and drive global retail growth. Unlike many of the companies in Cuban’s portfolio, Sriracha2Go did not appear on ABC’s Shark Tank, but instead, reached out to Cuban directly.
“Mark Cuban’s influence and entrepreneurial spirit has been a source of inspiration to us over the years and we knew we’d learn from the best with him on our side,” said Kyle Lewis, co-founder.
“We believe that our products should be in the hands of every single Sriracha lover, and teaming up with Mark Cuban Companies is an enormous step to help us get there. 2015 just got a whole lot spicier!” added co-founder, Farbod Deylamian.
Since launching Sriracha2Go in October 2014 with the 1.7 ounce refillable Sriracha sauce keychain, the company has entered into a licensing agreement with Huy Fong Foods, launched a more pocket-friendly, mini 1 ounce size and introduced packages that include both keychain sizes and Huy Fong Foods’ Sriracha sauce.
Sriracha2Go, headquartered in New York City, is the go-to for sriracha-lovers worldwide.
